Description
In recent years, old fuel gauges have become popular hobby and collector items. Some people might get themselves an old fuel gauge as a decoration for their own garage, man cave, or even as a decorative element in the corner of the living room. Others collect them passionately, browsing through different sales plots or traveling around the provinces to find them for their own collection.
This book presents the fuel dispensing devices that appeared in Finland from the 1910s to the end of the 1960s, as the name suggests, from the petrol station to the fuel meter. Also included is the account of the meter installer and their custodian about their own work in the 1950s and 60s. Fuel gauge toys also have their own section.
The book contains a lot of pictures of various fuel meters and pumps.
